Quick drawings are my way of expressing everyday reflections on reality. Sometimes I add animation as a means of expressing content, mood or dynamics. There is always a story.
The work next to it is titled “Pride” and is about the impermanence of beliefs about oneself.
Labeling is a very common form of micro-violence.
It is omnipresent. The worst form of it is self-labeling.
Me, You, They… it’s very practical but I like We.
It may be a bit old-fashioned but I believe in Unity.
The illusion of reality is very well seen in the cinema. White screen. No projection. We project the film ourselves.
This is a work that is particularly close to my heart. The release gave me a lot of relief. No one did it for me.
Autumn is a special time for me. I am rarely in balance then, that is why I created this work. It is a visualization.
Like in a French film – you don’t know who’s leaving and who’s staying. Isn’t love a constant waiting?
